Well yesterday i went over with some friends for my School’s Annual Sports Meet. It was okay-ish i hardly knew anyone there anymore, funny how things can really change in a span of 1 or maybe 2 years, right?
I had no mood to take any pictures, so i really don’t have much to show for it. But if i manage to get some from some where, you might just be lucky. :D
Whats makes it even worse was that i only had three of my many equally socially-awkward friends there so it wasn’t much fun as i hoped it to be, oh well, beats staying at home i guess :]
Tomorrow i’m off for another and hopefully i have pictures for the next post :D
Till then, sayonara!
This Holy Week’s been crazy.
Church. Church and more church.
I literally feel like i’ve got a halo on my head right now.
Mom and i have been Easter Egg hunting after our dismal failure with Hot Cross Buns, we saw some pretty yummy and exciting easter eggs and bunnies at this cake shop, but they were a little on the steep side so we waved off the idea :(
Do you know the significance of the Easter Bunny? Apparently in Ancient Times, the hare was believed to be a hermaphrodite. The idea that the hare could produce without losing it’s virginity made them associate it with The Virgin Mary.
The precise origin of the ancient custom of decorating eggs is not known, although evidently the blooming of many flowers in spring coincides with the use of the fertility symbol of eggs—and eggs boiled with some flowers change their color, bringing the spring into the homes. Many Christians of the Eastern Orthodox Church to this day typically dye their Easter Eggs red, the color of blood, in recognition of the blood of the sacrificed Christ (and, of the renewal of life in springtime). Some also use the color green, in honor of the new foliage emerging after the long dead time of winter.

Haha! Hope you like the pictures :)

Shillong’s been having super-duper heavy rain for the last week, methinks. As much as i love the monsoon season, isn’t it a bit too early for that now? :S Mom says April is full of thunder showers, which as of now is kinda getting on my nerves, twice have i planned to dress myself up ( which i hardly ever do ) in shorts and go and spend the day out with friends but my plans backfired *sigh* :(
Anywhoo, here are some pictures of the insane weather we’ve been having.
Photo credits : Grazeldiz Lyngdoh who also tweeted saying “you gotta love the rain.” I couldn’t agree more! :) :D :D

Ever heard of a Wreck This Journal?
I want one. BAD.
It’s never available in places i live.
And where i live, it’s the back of beyond :/ You get stuff that’s supposedly ‘new’ when the rest of the world has forgotten about it. *sigh*
Anyway, since i have no patience to buy one off the net, i figured i’d be making one myself. It’ll give me time to waste usefully, for once.
Take a lookie :

I think it’s worth a try, don’t you? :)
NEVER. EVER. EVER.

So mom’s got this thing about keeping in touch with the cousins in the UK. So being the Holy Week and all, she decided to send a back an e-card to her Uncle who had sent her one too.
And in her rush or i-have-no-idea-what, ended up sending him three different e-cards: Easter, something else and a passover card lololol that had super-weird video game music xD
And the saddest part? My Uncle is anti-Jew. xD
Oh the sadness of it all.
Ah, well, Happy Passover, i guess :S

So i haven’t been on in a while, not like i’ve been missed, but this one’s dedicated to my darling little Yong, yes Yong not Chinese but Khasi ( ever heard of it? ) Don’t kid yourself, you haven’t, sweet child :P So Yong (Iong) is khasi for Black, as you can see he, yes HE had some black and white on him but the name went well (: and as you can see, he was quite the poser.
Anyywhooo, i’m rambling now, but to put it well, I MISS YOU, you silly cat.
